“We are the biggest deceivers on the planet when it comes to ourselves.” -Leanne Ely, pg. 40

What excuses do you make to yourself for having Body Clutter? Don’t hold back! List them all!

  1. I am big boned.
  2. I don’t have time to eat right?
  3. I don’t have time to workout today.
  4. I can’t afford new clothes.
  5. I have to have ice cream.
  6. Why do I have to deny myself that food?
  7. I can eat now and work it off later.
  8. I’m not too fat.
  9. I have two kids, a dog, a cat and husband to take care of and no time for myself.
  10. Ohh, there’s a Starbucks. I deserve a drink.
  11. Ohh, there’s a Steak and Shake. I want a shake.
  12. It’s so easy to go through the drive thru. I can contain the kids in the car seat.
  13. I don’t feel like cooking
  14. I am tired and deserve a treat.
  15. I’m not hungry, but I want a snack.

The questions come from the Body Clutter Journal Missions inBody Clutter: Love Your Body, Love Yourself by Marla Cilley and Leanne Ely, page 55.
