I didn’t quite get there again this week. Only 1 day of Pilates & 2 days of walking.
My new goal is 2 days Pilates & 2 days of walking.
I was on it! I got in my runs and made it through the second week of the push up challenge. The challenge wasn’t bad — I can tell this week is going to be tough, though.
Drinking more water…I definitely drank more but I don’t think I drank enough.
So, this week my goals are to complete week 3 of the push up challenge, keep up with the water (maybe even drink some more!), and add a speed workout to my runs.
Thanks! I reached the goals listed, in that I got more sleep last week and I got in a good speed session. It wasn’t exactly the speed session I wanted (I misprogrammed my watch) but it was still worth running.
Unfortunately, I also pulled a muscle in my neck and had to take a few days off. I still ran over 95 kilometers, but that still wasn’t what I was shooting for in the distance department.
This week I’d like to get my mileage back up over 100k while still getting in the quality speed work on Wednesday (at least) and Saturday (hopefully.) I need to contend with not being fully recovered from my neck injury as well.
Oh, I wrote everything down, alright…just too much writing being done! This week I want to keep tracking what I put into my body, stay within my points, and workout at least 3 times. Summer has demolished healthful routines and it’s time to get back on track!
Work hard, and play too!

My goal is to take my first spin class. For some reason, the thought of this just terrifies me which is all the more reason for taking the leap. I need to get out of my comfort zone!!
Train hard; stay strong.
Peace.

It’s Okay, Anita. Way to stay focused and you’ll have no problem this week!
Good Job, Felice.
Definitely take care of the injury. Yikes, Blaine.
Nice Comeback Victoria.
Have fun Susan. Spin classes intimidate me too!!!
Hey – nice new look! What a surprise at the end of the week.
You sure are working hard. That’s good encouragement for me to put my nose back to the work grindstoen after a few luscious weeks off. Congrats on the good stuff you have going!
Hi Cindy!
I like your new blog theme, how neat!!
I thought I had already posted here and I see that the days have flown past me so I’m checking in rather late, but at least I’m here with you guys.
As far as how I did last week, I did Not meet my exercise goals, and I maintained my weight loss. So, I didn’t go backwards and I didn’t go forwards.
My goal for this week that is almost over was to revamp my mental/emotional/spiritual motivation that I need for my healthy lifestyle. Sometimes I need to do this for myself along the way so that my passion for staying healthy and fit does not wane.
I know that’s not my usual goal that I post here, but I do believe that the mental/emotional/spiritual all tie in to the physical side of a healthy lifestyle – they all make up the whole puzzle.
Also, my other goal is to check in here and post my goal on Monday this next week – see you then!!
