1. Enter your goal in the comments (anytime during the week).

2. You’ll be listed in the Goal Call section next Monday. Enter your results/progress to be entered in the drawing.

Why You Want to Participate:

Focus on your top one-week goal in health, diet or exercise.

Accountability is shared here in the comments and by coming back with the results.

Motivation will be provided through your desire to achieve your goal and return with good news or the challenges you faced.

As an extra motivation, I’ll enter anyone who participates in a random drawing to receive a surprise reward (different prizes given each week).

Goal Call

How did you do? Did you accomplish your goal, get stuck, have a funny story to tell? This week is filled with great accomplishments. Keep up the great work everyone. You’re doing fantastic.

  • Jamie: Walk twice and get myself on the elliptical at least once.
  • Blaine: Start training for the 50 miler in January. Easy running to begin increasing mileage to 60-70 miles.
  • Angie: At least 4 days of exercise, 50 reps on Ab Coaster when at gym and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day.
  • feener: Congratulations. That’s a great time and for a 1st! Focusing on weigths and stomach in shape and my arms, swimming as well, maybe yoga. The possiblitilies are endless. It’s great to discover what you enjoy and test out differeent activities.
  • Anita: 3 days of aerobic exercise since the weather is getting iffier & the air quality worse due to harvesting.

I look forward to hearing how you did with your goals. Great job focusing on the small steps! A surprise reward will go to one of you for commenting on the results (good or bad)! Check in and report any time during the week before the next Goal Call Monday is posted! To see their original goals, click here and read the comments.

This past week went pretty well. I ran in the mid-50s mileage wise, felt pretty good.

This week I’d like to get up to the low 60s.

I’m still trying to come up with a specific training plan, but I have a general idea of what I want to over the next 12 weeks or so leading up to the 50 miler.

I’m very excited to win this week. It’s been a tough week. I didn’t accomplish my goals and you can read more about why on my blog in the post “feeling defeated” or my workout check in but it’s because I hurt my knee and can no longer do Turbo Kick. The only thing I can do this week is upper body and doc says if my knee is feeling better by Sat. I can start working out again but no more kickboxing of any kind. I cried a lot this week about that, my favorite thing to do in the world. But I must move on and figure out another plan.

My goal this week is that I will do 3 days of upper body strength/weights at home and hope to go back to spin class Sat. and Sun. We’ll see.

Hope you have a great week.

Last week I only walked once, but this week I am turning everything around. I have a new lease on life — and I will workout in some fashion at least 3 days. I’m also starting back on Weight Watchers and I plan to journal my food every day.

I met my goal last week, but have been a little slow to get started this week after traveling all weekend…so my goal for this week is to get back into the swing of things-walk/aerobic exercise 2days, Pilates 1 day, & drink more water.
