Goal Call
How did you do? Did you accomplish your goal, get stuck, have a funny story to tell? This week is filled with great accomplishments. Keep up the great work everyone. You’re doing fantastic.
- feener: In the gym on Thursday and run 3 miles!
- Anita: Drink water & increase activity level from 15 mins to 20 mins a day (average).
- Blaine: Low/mid 80s (running miles). Barefoot!!! You’re a trooper!
- Asithi: 3 strength training sessions of approximately 30 minutes each, walking around in order to get 10,000 steps. Great job with the walking. Small steps lead to big changes.
- Shen-Li: Three home fitness workout sessions of at least 20 minutes each. Great work with the at-home videos!
I look forward to hearing how you did with your goals. Great job focusing on the small steps! A surprise reward will go to one of you for commenting on the results (good or bad)! Check in and report any time during the week before the next Goal Call Monday is posted! To see their original goals, click here and read the comments.

I managed to run 79 miles last week. I found out near the beginning of the week of a trail race that a friend was putting on, so that combined with spending a few days putting the finishing touches on my new product (competitiveaging.com) meant I got a few less miles than I’d thought. I’m not used to all nighters.
This week I’d like to push into the 90s, but to do that I’ll need to get to bed at a reasonable time all week. Did all right last night; my cat started trying to get me to go to bed around 9:00 or 9:30 and we finally went to bed around 10:30. (I got to sleep in this morning.)
Yeah, I won… I won….
I would like to start off my thanking my agent., my family, …….:D
Do I email you my address for the prize?
i got to the gym on saturday and ran 2.73 miles. plan on going thursday of this week and trying to get back into going at least 3 times a week.
I’m not doing too badly with the home DVD workout – averaging about five 30 minutes sessions a week so far. It’s been a little tricky managing my son while I workout but so far so good (all things considered). Let’s keep up the pace with the same goals – if I can keep this up for a month without being sabotaged by my son, I’ll move on to a new goal.
Great job everyone! Yes, Asithi, You got mail!
Keep it up!
I like how you make your readers post their goals. Its so important to set goals. I like how you are trying to get mom’s into shape. I’m going to show my mom your site. She won’t do the same workouts I do even though I can tailor them for her.
BTW, I like your site.
I agree with Brad, it’s great how you create accountability by setting goals and rewarding your readers. You have an awesome approach. I’m sharing your site with a few moms I know
